After defining different problem areas with training and the way information is accesses and used, I developed different solutions in each problem area.
Training POC
Training on large engines is expensive, time consuming and in person. The need for a solution to enable a service tech to take training remotely and on their own schedule was needed.
The first iteration solution below would enable a user to take training on products on their own schedule that would normally take them off site for multiple days if not weeks for training
Wiring Diagram POC
There was a need for a way to interact with wiring diagrams. It had to be lightweight, the below example is only 800kb, be able to highlight complete wire runs, identify pin locations, know what connector was at each spot and require no plugins to use. This first round POC I developed included these initial features and from initial first round testing, I identified other feature to add to the next iteration. Interactive Information Access
I found users having difficulties finding information if a part or system was unknown. The below POC I developed helped users quickly and accurately get to the part the first time through.
